The Role You will cover both the Woodland and our new day case Hospital, Glendon Wood. Your role will be to deliver theatre-specific training, assessment and support for Registered Nurses, Operating Department Practitioners and Assistant Theatre Practitioners to maintain a skilled and competent workforce. You will also mentor and support the Student Nurses, Student Operating Department Practitioners and any other Learners in the department. The role is clinical and your day-to-day duties will be to work alongside staff and students in the clinical environment, building and developing our workforce whilst promoting good practice and excellent patient care. You will also be required to maintain training logs, competency spreadsheets and produce welcome packs for all theatre staff. You will also be required to work one day a week clinical as part of the numbers to support the department and maintain your own clinical competencies in all specialties.
