And with biosolutions, the possibilities for transformation are endless.We’re here to better our world with biology.Join us as Senior Technician, Beverages Applied R&D – Influence the world of fermented beveragesWelcome to Beverages Applied R&DExciting job opportunity in the global head quarter for Beverages Applied R&D in Novonesis – Influence the fermented beverages of tomorrow across the globe together with a great team of highly dedicated colleagues.You will be a main part of our laboratory and application platform for cultures and enzymes within fermented beverages running both trials, and experiments while help keeping the facilities at highest modern standards.This is a unique opportunity to help improve and expand the bio-solution portfolio in fermented beverages and we are seeking a person with a structured, practical and creative can do attitude, with focus on understanding and carrying out a wide range of trials and applications in collaboration with the scientists and research associates.In this role you’ll make an impact by:Carry out trials and experiments in our beverage application center as well as maintaining a high standard here within.Together with the scientists be part of building the future setup for our fermented beverages in both lab and pilot scale.Be part of new development projects from early to late stage.Be part of a team that delivers technical support to the industry, innovation both related to new products but also when it comes to optimizing existing solutions.In this position you need to:Have, as minimum, a BSc within Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Food or Brewing ScienceHave good laboratory skills and experience from previous workHave a practical experience and in-depth insight in working with yeast and/or enzymes.Have work experience from the brewing industry e.g. pilot plant operations or industrial productions.Be curious and enjoy generating scienced and application based insightsEnjoy working as part of a collaborative team and possess strong collaboration and communications skillsPossess good experimental planning and data analysis skillsSpeak and write English fluentlyApplication deadline: 17th February, 2025.
