ABOUT THE COMPANY.Our Client based in Sydney Olympic Park is an industry-leading accounting firm that is experiencing rapid growth. Within a short period of time, you may be given the opportunity to open up and run a new office in Sydney. Work with an innovative team that has large social media presence from the assistance of an off-shore team. This position will require you to attend the office full-time.ABOUT THE POSITION.A permanent opportunity. Get fast-tracked into a Partner role within the organisation and play a key role in the opening and management of a new office. Work within a team of 14, plus 13 off-shore accountants. Experience in tax accounting is mandatory and the requirement is to either be CA/CPA qualified or close to completion. You will manage a ledger of clients up to $1m and mentor a team of tax professionals.DUTIES.

• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partners, trusts & companies
• Prepare and file activity statements and FBT returns
• Ensure timely payments of clients’ tax debts
• Analyse financial statements including tax provisions, deferred tax assets/liabilities & more
• Develop tax planning strategies

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• Experience in tax accounting within an accounting firm
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience using XPM and Xero will be highly regarded
