This role supports the execution of Omantel’s long-term strategic vision and innovation agenda by ensuring integration, alignment, and delivery across corporate strategy, innovation, branding, technology, and M&A initiatives. The Senior Strategist will play a key role in turning strategic ambitions into actionable programs and in driving cross-functional coordination across business units.Position Information

• Strategic Advisory & Support to CSIO
• Serve as the principal strategic advisor and deputy to the CSIO, supporting all aspects of strategy formulation, monitoring, and execution.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations on critical initiatives, growth opportunities, and emerging trends.
• Coordinate strategic planning cycles, executive communications, and alignment sessions between the CSIO and the unit’s General Managers (GMs).
• Represent the CSIO in internal committees, high-impact projects, and cross-functional strategic forums.
• Cross-Unit Strategic Integration
• Drive alignment of strategic goals across Corporate Strategy, Innovation & Development, Branding, Technology Strategy, and the Innovation Lab.
• Lead coordination efforts among GMs to ensure unified execution of Omantel’s corporate strategy and innovation roadmap.
• Oversee cross-departmental strategic initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and measurable impact.
• Strategic Program Oversight
• Manage high-priority programs delegated by the CSIO, with full accountability for outcome delivery and KPI tracking.
• Integrate innovation, M&A, branding, and technology strategies into the broader corporate transformation agenda.
• Support execution of post-merger integration and transformation initiatives through cross-unit collaboration.
• Innovation, Foresight & Market Intelligence
• Monitor emerging technologies, industry shifts, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks for Omantel.
• Enable a forward-looking, innovation-driven culture by partnering with the Innovation Lab on scouting, incubation, and ecosystem development (e.g., startups, cloud platforms).
• Provide strategic foresight to shape future-ready strategies and investment theses.
• Strategic Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
• Prepare executive-level communication materials for the CEO, Board, investors, and strategic partners in coordination with the CSIO.
• Contribute to the development of key deliverables including Board strategy decks, investor briefings, and strategic updates.
• Ensure strategic messaging consistency and brand alignment in collaboration with the Corporate Branding team.
• Strategic Partnerships & Investor Relations
• Maintain development and partner management, across group level functions and managing relationship, tracking progress and developing the local, regional and global partner ecosystem
• Maintain relationships with large-scale stakeholders and strategic investors to support long-term growth initiatives.
• Leverage financial acumen and investment analysis capabilities to evaluate potential partners and technology investments
