Job description: Job Description:Role PurposeJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed connectivity and Security Solutions Architect to join our Enterprise Product Development team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in security architecture and design, with a thorough understanding of industry security standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements.This role involves working closely with enterprise customers to design, implement, and optimize Fixed and security solutions that meet their unique needs. The candidate will also play a pivotal role in preparing business case with good understanding of commercial and pre-sales activities, vendor evaluations, and solution comparisons to ensure that our offerings are best-in-class.Identify, create and manage business Fixed connectivity & security products revenues in line with the annual PD roadmap and business/ market requirements. - Product Development / Business Solutions
- Creating Product Mix with different Security Services, focus on different requirements from customers, standards & best practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external Omantel stakeholders to define various security products.
- Track and analyze product performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on the product based on data and feedback
Key responsibilities:
- Security Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of robust security architectures for enterprise customers, ensuring alignment with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all solution designs adhere to relevant industry regulations, including PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR, and assist customers in maintaining compliance.
- Integration of Security Technologies: Oversee the integration of various security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, endpoint protection platforms, DDoS and more, to build comprehensive security solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Cloud Security Architecture: Design and implement secure cloud architectures that align with industry standards and best practices. Ensure that cloud deployments are secure, scalable, and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Cloud Security Solutions: Familiarity with leading cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their native security services, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and security monitoring tools.
- Threat Modeling & Control Design: Utilize the MITRE ATT&CK framework and other threat modeling tools to identify potential attack vectors, and design effective security controls to mitigate risks.
- Security Gap Analysis & Remediation: Conduct thorough assessments of customer environments to identify security gaps and develop actionable strategies for remediation and continuous improvement.
- Vendor & Solution Evaluation: Evaluate and compare IT vendors and security solutions, leveraging your deep knowledge of the market to recommend the most suitable technologies for enterprise customers.
- Customer Engagement: Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand their security requirements, present solution designs, and provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Security Certification & Best Practices: Maintain a strong understanding of current security certifications and best practices. A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Cost-Effective Security Design: Develop multiple security design options based on factors such as cost, regulatory requirements, and existing infrastructure, and select the most optimal solution to meet the customer’s needs.
- Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process, including conducting customer workshops, preparing technical proposals, and delivering presentations.
- E2E Product design based on Omantel internal & subsidiary capabilities along with various vendor partnership.
- Develop and manage product roadmaps.
- Assess competition to determine competitive positions and partnership possibilities.
- Develop & implement GTM strategy including the marketing plan.
- Coordinate with Marcom to develop proper product campaigns
- Supervise and monitor product development progress according to the roadmap and business/market requirements.
- Ensure all aspects of the product lifecycle including cost, procurement, systems, resources, targets, service-agreements, training and reporting are executed within given timeframes and budgets.
- Coordinates with Market Research and BI to conduct Market surveys to assess market trends.
- Set products forecasts & identify best business models and payment options that match customers budget & preferences.
- Having a strong commercial acumen to build business and coordinate with Pricing to develop detailed financial impact & ROI
- Develop product and services post launch analysis criteria and reports to measure success against initial agreed targets.
- Measure actual vs. budget and ensure B2B profitability is met.
- Responsible for creating periodic reports & dashboard for Fixed performance.
- Analyze product and portfolio performance as well as feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to improve customer experience, product performance and profitability.
- Align with PD roadmap and current business and market needs to maximize acquisition, retention and growth across all enterprise customer segments and products.
- Develop and manage retention strategies
- Ensure products and services offered meet customer needs and expectations in terms of proposition and end-to-end experience
- Ensures correct processes are created for all products and are communicated and followed across the teams keeping customer experience in mind.
- Works collaboratively with team members and all stakeholders to build strong relationships.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Advanced level skills on using PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Advance analytical thinking and problem solving
- Strong understanding of Managed services SLA, QoS, CoS and redundant solutions
- Excellent understanding of the fixed business services (L2/L3 MPLS, Dedicated Internet, SD-WAN, VPN, Fixed Broadband, Ethernet, TCP/IP, PSTN/SIP/PRI, Routing & Switching, Last mile media, Data Security, Managed WAN/LAN and Wi-Fi).
- Strong understanding for Mobile & Emerging/ICT solutions
- Excellent Knowledge on Telecom and security services and solutions
- Business acumen & strong telco-commercial Knowledge.
- Solid background in overall B2B Product Management including Development, Marketing & Product Life-cycle Management.
- Marketing and Sales knowledge
