Job description: On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Senior Software Developer – AI/ML/Blockchain to join our Client’s team on a Contract basis. This role is Hybrid, three days onsite per week, and the Client is based in Richmond, BC.Summary of the Role
This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced full-stack developer and technical lead to work with advanced technologies in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment. The successful candidate will contribute to and lead the design, development, and implementation of rapid prototypes and proof-of-concept projects leveraging AI, ML, and Blockchain technologies.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead technical design, development, and testing of prototype solutions.Guide and mentor less-experienced developers within the team.Partner with internal teams to ensure adoption and integration of innovative solutions.Develop full-stack applications using a modern tech stack.Leverage emerging technologies to enhance stability, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.Core Requirements6+ years of experience in technology roles, including:4+ years as a full-stack developer3+ years in agile, Azure cloud, and DevOps environments2+ years in a technical lead role2+ years using emerging AI/ML technologies including LLMs and RAGProficient in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch), C#, .NET CoreFront-end experience with Blazor, Angular, React, or VueBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or STEMDesired Skills & ExperienceExperience with natural language processing, generative AI, and deep learning frameworksFamiliarity with Agentic Frameworks and SystemsStrong understanding of cloud-native architectureTest-driven development and DevOps automationEffective collaboration in multi-disciplinary teamsTerms
This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate must be available to work onsite in Richmond three days per week.
