Applicants wishing to work remotely will NOT be consideredMaximum hours – 40 hours per weekSecurity clearance – Must have Negative Vetting Level 1Job detailsThis role is for a SIEM engineer to implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services.This role requires a 5 day/week ONSITE presence in the AEC National Office in Canberra. Remote applicants will NOT be considered.This role requires an ACTIVE NV1 or higher clearance. Applicants lacking this will NOT be considered.Key duties and responsibilitiesThe successful applicant for this role will be responsible for the maintenance of cyber security monitoring and analysis toolsets, and will take a lead role in the build of the cyber security architecture through consultation with internal ICT teams to secure this architecture.Technical skillsMANDATORY: 1. Experience using Sentinel or similar SIEM solution 2. In-depth familiarity with the Australian Government ISM 3. Experience with security technologies such as endpoint protection, firewalls and IDS/IPS 4. Extensive experience in Windows, Linux, networking and system administration 5. Experience with security services in the cloud (Azure or AWS) DESIREABLE: 1.
