Is this your next opportunity?Reporting to the Head of Sales, this autonomous role is responsible for engaging with media agencies and driving sales. You will maintain the organisational structure of individuals working with all current and prospective clients, media agencies, and trading desks, while fostering positive relationships at all levels. - Build a comprehensive understanding of the structure of people working on all current and target clients, media agencies & trading desks, fostering positive relationships at all levels.
- Create detailed strategic plans to define, analyse and grow the investment from your defined patch.
- #1 focus on driving sales revenue, prioritising client prospecting, meetings and proposals created weekly for clients
- Prepare & sell market-leading, campaign-winning responses to briefs.
- Be revenue driven, working to a quarterly revenue target.
- Seek out and act on the right opportunities, to put forward to clients.
Trade Engagement & Business Planning
- Continually engage and develop contacts at media agencies, trading desks & brands at every level – making them constantly aware of brand-safe inventory opportunities & creative solutions.
- Work with the internal team on media plans and sales collateral – ensuring everything is 100% up to date, style-compliant and reflects our products and company correctly.
- Assist Head of Sales with annual, quarterly and monthly sales planning and forecasting, ensuring that the forecasts are true to market conditions.
- Continuously evolve personal and professional capability in-line with business needs.
- Ownership of your agency patch will mean you are the owner of all relationships within this group.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.
- Ability to establish and maintain both pre-existing contacts and new relationships with UK Media Agencies.
- Demonstrable experience in digital video ad sales, with a focus on the media and entertainment sectors, would be extremely valuable and effective for this position.
- Strong experience and knowledge in digital video ad sales, digital ad business strategy, digital media planning and buying, presentation skills, strategic sales planning, pipeline management, relationship building, digital market knowledge, negotiation & analytical skills.
- Able to demonstrate that you’re a self-starter, independent, and have a significant drive to exceed sales targets through the development and maintenance of key relationships.
- High level of organisation and attention to detail, with excellent English verbal and written communication skills is a must.
- Have a consultative approach that is adaptive and dynamic; we are looking for people that can create long-term partnerships with brands through media agencies.
- Able to place and reiterate high importance on contributing to a great culture with all our people, teams and offices globally.
