(German is an advantage)The objective of Senior Risk Analyst is to effectively apply risk management process aiming to analyze & mitigate chargeback, credit and reputational risks in line with Global Payments Credit & Risk Policies.Your duties and responsibilities:Market Knowledge: maintain a knowledge of the business environments of the countries where organization operates

• analyses and evaluates financial and non-financial documents, economical conditions and business models related to the merchants and/or business partners
• approves the chargeback risk of newly boarded and existing merchants
• proactively identifies non-compliant merchants, fraud detection issues and provides analytical solutions and/or proposes remediative actions
• provides support to Risk Manager and Head of Credit Risk
• escalates cases to Risk & Compliance Committee where necessary
• collaborates with internal stakeholders including Sales, Underwriting, Chargeback, Fraud, Dispute, Finance, Business Operations and Marketing teams
• liaises with internal and external auditors
• engages in projects relevant to area of Risk
• identifies and proposes process improvement opportunities

Your qualifications:

• College degree in finance, accounting or business related field
• 5 years+ of experience working in a credit risk management, preferably in the financial institution
• Ability to work with databases
• Solid understanding of merchant acquiring business is a plus
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and an ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations on course of action
• Advanced English and Czech (German is an advantage)
• Efficient with MS Office suite
