Accountabilities:Order Management
Place purchase orders aligned withcompany policies, procedures, and customer requirements to meet internal demand.
Ensure timely order placement and fulfillment to support business needs, especially within MRO categories.
Expedite orders and address any business-impacting delays, proactively resolving issues with urgency and assertiveness.
Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation
Lead and participate in multi-functional purchasing activities to achieve budget targets and secure favorable terms with suppliers.
Conduct negotiations with suppliers, leveraging a strong understanding of MRO and other critical commodities, to capture cost savings and ensure service quality.
Identify, negotiate, and secure cost-saving opportunities, comparing quotations for accuracy and completeness and obtaining optimal value.
Best Practices & Compliance
Implement and uphold best purchasing practices, contributing to procurement excellence across all vendor and commodity groups.
Develop, adhere to, and maintain companies corporate and purchasing policies and procedures in compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Conduct market research for non-contractual items to source materials and services that align with business objectives.
Vendor & Relationship Management
Maintain positive, professional relationships with vendor representatives, visiting supplier facilities as needed to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
Work collaboratively with suppliers to expedite material orders and resolve discrepancies in shipments.
Oversee invoice, payment, and reverse logistics issues related to purchase orders, managing timely close-outs and supporting surplus sales or disposal as required.
ERP & Documentation Accuracy
Support ERP system maintenance, ensuring data accuracy for all procurement activities and documentation.
Investigate and address inventory-related issues, such as inefficiencies in processes or system settings, recommending improvements where appropriate.
Conduct follow-ups with both customers and vendors to resolve delays, errors, and quality issues, ensuring company standards are consistently met.
Professional Representation
Represent company professionally and ethically, maintaining confidentiality and effective relationships with both internally and externally.
Support procurement goals across the organization and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Performance Measures:
All products are procured accurately, efficiently and without avoidable costs as per companies policies, procedures and practices.

Procurement, Supply Chain or other Business-related degree coupled with a minimum of 3-5+ years of directly related experience.
Excellent negotiation skills and assertive approaches to drive favorable deals, ensuring optimal terms and value from suppliers.
Highly refined organizational and planning
Team-player mindset with high level of dedication to raising the bar for the whole
Understanding of sourcing performance metrics and key performance
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office
Ability to quickly learn new software programs including Eclipse (ERP)
