For individuals who can take the initiative but work well within a team.The roleAs a Senior Proposals Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the Commercial Team, responsible for delivering high-quality proposals on time. This position involves managing all aspects of proposal development and responses to bid/tender requests. The Senior Proposals Manager works closely with colleagues in the commercial team alongside the Structural Monitoring technical team and department manager.The role focuses on compiling winning tenders and proposals to secure work, with an emphasis on a consultative approach to assist clients in mitigating risks and overcoming challenges. Some tenders and proposals will involve liaising with various departments within the Service Line and other Fugro Service/Business Lines. The Senior Proposals Manager reports directly to the Commercial Manager and functionally to the Structural Monitoring Department Manager.Key responsibilities include preparing tenders, providing input to multi-department proposals, managing client relationships, and developing business opportunities. The role also involves continually developing technical knowledge, staying updated with industry developments, and supporting the Service Line in maintaining accurate and efficient systems and processes.Who we’re looking for:The ideal candidate for the Senior Proposals Manager (Structural Monitoring) role will be a dynamic and highly skilled professional with a technical background (ideally a Bachelor’s degree). They will bring strong technical experience, along with a strong commercial background in tendering. This individual will be a master of organization, with an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Their advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint will be complemented by their conscientious approach and proactive initiative.In addition to their technical and organizational prowess, the ideal candidate will be an outstanding communicator, fluent in English, and capable of engaging clients with ease. They will excel in client consultation, adeptly identifying and developing opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling services. Their commitment to staying abreast of industry developments and continuously enhancing their technical knowledge, particularly in the marine sector, will set them apart. A true team player, they will support the Service Line in maintaining accurate and efficient systems and processes, while also fostering their own professional growth and that of their wider team.
