If you share the same sense of infinite possibility, come shape your future at Questrade.Senior Project Manager, Fixed Term Contract (Hybrid, in office 3 days per week)What is it like working as a Senior Project Manager at Questrade?As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll champion the successful delivery of critical business and technology initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders, technology teams, and executives to define scope, manage timelines, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.Reporting to the Program Manager, PMO, you’ll lead high-impact projects across the organization, managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to deployment, ensuring that all deliverables meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements, while focusing on operational readiness, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.Are you the ideal candidate? You are if you:Lead and manage multiple large-scale, complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business needs.Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies.Drive stakeholder engagement and manage relationships with internal and external partners.Champion and promote our PMO Agile practices by improving on agile project management processes within and outside of the PMO.What you’ll do:Provide end-to-end project management: This includes developing detailed plans, work back schedules, project estimates, status reports, and continuously updating internal and external teams on progress.Act as the key contact for internal stakeholders, and a conduit between stakeholders and the technology team.Conduct project meetings to ensure projects meet deadlines and specifications. Prepare project tracking, reports, and analysis. Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.Perform risk and issue tracking and reporting, status gathering, and report development.Identify project risks and work with the Program Manager to develop and implement mitigating strategies.Maintain good knowledge of current and emerging technologies with the ability to apply relevant learnings to ongoing initiatives.What you’ll bring:Graduate in computer science, information technology, business management, or equivalent.5+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex projects in fintech, financial services or related industries.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).Experience working with project management tools such as ClickUp, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, as well as G Suite.Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying risks and resolving issues.Highly organized and possess excellent time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Additional kudos if you have…PMP certification is preferred.Experience with FinTech, financial services, or related industries is a strong asset.Readiness to work within a hybrid workplace out of our North York office (5700 Yonge St.), and you will be expected to be in the office 3 days per week.Sounds like you?
