The program aligns with the Bank’s strategic goals and focuses on refreshing IT infrastructure, improving resilience, simplifying the technology ecosystem, and enhancing observability.Key Objectives:Refresh the Bank’s IT infrastructure from the Head Office Data Centre to the new Co-Location Data Centre.Improve the resilience and stability of the Bank’s core IT Infrastructure.Migrate applications from current aging data centres to new data centresSimplify the Bank’s technology ecosystem and increase Observability, monitoring and alerting of applications and services.Enable rapid equipment replacement to maintain a supported, secure, and stable infrastructure.Role Overview:The Senior Project Manager will work across 2 workstreams within CoreMod, ensuring the successful delivery across both the workstreams.Within the infrastructure workstream, the role will be responsible to assist the Senior Program Manager in Governance reporting, liaising with other Snr Project Managers to understand the status and preparing Governance packs and reports.In the Enterprise Migrations workstream, this role will be responsible for the discovery, planning, migrations of enterprise applications with the Bank as well as managing the selection and implementation of Observability tool across the Bank’s applications. This role requires exceptional planning and organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. The incumbent will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to support project planning and reporting, ensuring alignment with program objectives and adherence to established policies and procedures. Additionally, this role requires extensive experience in project governance and reporting.Key Responsibilities:Manage CoreMod Infrastructure workstream projects governance activities, ensuring alignment with forums and reporting charters.Support planning, risk and issues management, dependency management, and critical governance reporting for the infrastructure stream.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure discovery, planning and migration of enterprise applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure analysis, planning, procurement and implementation of Observability tool(s) for all applications in the Bank.Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with service requirements.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and reporting.Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT applications and infrastructure projects.Proven experience in procurement, planning, risk and issues management, dependency management, budgeting, and critical governance reporting.Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies and applications migrations.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.PMP, PRINCE2, AGILE or similar project management/delivery certification is preferred.Desired Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Experience with data centre technologies, networking and hybrid cloud environments.Application Process: Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and cover letter outlining their qualifications and experience relevant to this role.Application Close : February 20, 2025.
