Job description: We are looking for a Project Manager, Applications Development. This role requires someone on site 5 days a week, ideally with 3-4 days in Windsor and 1 day in Mississauga.Our client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in applications development and Agile methodology. This role is designed as a contract interim position with the opportunity to evolve into a full-time role. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with proven project management skills to drive the successful
planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects. As a hands-on leader, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet both business objectives and technical standards.Responsibilities
 Project Planning & Execution:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key

stakeholders.

• Develop detailed project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Oversee project execution to ensure milestones are met and projects are delivered on

time and within budget.Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with software developers, QA teams, and other departments to align project

objectives.

• Lead regular project meetings to track progress, identify issues, and implement

solutions.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business

stakeholders.
 Agile Methodology Implementation:

• Champion the adoption and execution of Agile best practices to enhance project

delivery and team collaboration.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

 Risk & Vendor Management:

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure adherence to service level

agreements (SLAs) and project requirements.
 Quality & Performance Oversight:

• Monitor project performance metrics and application quality to ensure optimal

performance, scalability, and security.

• Implement proactive measures for issue resolution, ensuring projects meet regulatory

and industry standards.
 Continuous Improvement:

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve efficiency

and performance.

• Mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement and

innovation.Requirements
 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or
equivalent experience.
 Significant experience in software development with a proven track record in project
management.
 Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodology and its practical application in software
projects.
 Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
 Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and
deliver effective solutions.
 Prior experience in managing application development projects from conception to
deployment.
 Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ScrumMaster) are a plus.
 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
