Job description: Senior Project Engineer – Major Civil ProjectsWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer with experience in delivering large-scale civil projects, including roads, highways, and intersections. The successful candidate will lead and manage the construction and maintenance of key infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.About the Company:This top-tier contractor has been successfully delivering major infrastructure projects across NSW for the past 16 years. • Lead and manage the construction and maintenance of roads, highways, and intersections
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure timely delivery
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution
• Plan and schedule work, allocating resources efficiently to meet project objectives
• Provide guidance, training, and support to junior staff and contractors
• Coordinate and participate in safety meetings and inspections
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules
• Prepare and maintain project specifications and design plans

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on road maintenance, highways, and intersections
• Proven experience managing large civil infrastructure projects
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
• Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in a Senior Project Engineer or similar role
