This role isn’t just about managing categories; it’s about shaping the future of procurement in a way that supports BT’s wider strategic objectives, contributes to sustainable practices, and harnesses the power of digital transformation.#WeSourceForABetterFutureWhy this role mattersAs the Senior Procurement Manager for Consulting and Financial Services, you will be responsible for leading and managing the category procurement strategy and activities within BT Sourced.Your role is crucial in providing procurement expertise and implementing procurement rigour and oversight in order to drive value and results. This position involves maintaining senior-level relationships with key suppliers to ensure procurement excellence and delivering value to BT and its external customers. Additionally, you will foster strong internal networks to secure stakeholder engagement and buy-in.What you’ll be doing

• Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to optimise procurement activities across all BT Customer Facing Units for all relevant categories.
• Policy Implementation: Oversee the implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
• Supplier Management: Manage key supplier relationships to ensure procurement excellence.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Secure and maintain stakeholder engagement for procurement initiatives.
• Operational Efficiency: Enhance operational efficiency through strategic procurement practices.

The skills you’ll need

• Proven experience in procurement leadership, particularly in the Consulting Advisory and Financial Services categories
• Strong financial and procurement background
• Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies.
• Demonstrated success in managing senior-level supplier relationships.
• Experience in securing stakeholder engagement and buy-in for procurement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in driving adoption of digital procurement technology
