Job description: An institutional investor with assets across diversified industry sectors is looking to hire a senior Private Equity or Investment Banking professional to lead the turnaround and restructuring of distressed, challenged, and under performing investments/assets across diversified sectors. Reporting directly to the Director of Investments, the right candidate will need to have gained more than 12+ years of solid experience in leading the restructuring of distressed assets to be suitable for this role.Key responsibilities of the role is to be responsible for the turnaround of distressed, challenged, and under-performing investments/assets across diversified sectors. Conduct thorough portfolio screening and assessment to inform the formulation of financial and operational turnaround plans, collaborating closely with asset managers and portfolio companies. Develop and recommend strategic options for turnaround structuring and execution, tailoring solutions to the specific circumstances of each asset. Formulate detailed turnaround plans, establishing clear milestones and timeliness in coordination with asset managers and portfolio companies.Supervise, assist, and support portfolio companies in implementing and executing turnaround plans effectively, and provide guidance and support throughout the process. Assess advisory needs and select appropriate external advisers in close coordination with portfolio companies. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress toward turnaround objectives, ensuring alignment with overall goals. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with turnaround initiatives, developing strategies to minimize negative impacts. Monitor external market conditions, regulatory changes, and industry trends, assessing their implications on turnaround efforts.
