Job description: Our market leading client is needing a senior DBA to work on a new modern banking platform. Someone who can come into a mid-flight platform build and own the DBA aspects of this proiject. The development of the new platform is almost done – but this expert will focus on getting the Database to target state for go live. Including Performance tuning, operational readiness and making a production scale Database.Have you got 5+ Years’ experience as a DBA designing, developing and managing production scale databases? Then check this out.What we are looking for:

• Knowledge and in-depth experience with PostgreSQL (preferably on AWS Aurora)
• Experience with Implementing, Scripting and automation tools to streamline DBA tasks
• Security measures to protect the database from unauthorized access and data breaches
• Robust backup and recovery procedures, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Tools to monitor database performance, identify potential issues, and set up alerts
• Database Upgrades and management in the Cloud (preferably AWS)
• DevOps CI/CD toolsets (Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation)
