• Permanent role
• Provide technical support to Underwriters and Claims teams
• Multiple locations/hybrid WFH

The purpose of this crucial role is to support the delivery of the Underwriting strategy and Portfolio operations to generate desirable growth in the Portfolio and deliver long term profitability.Key responsibilities include:

• Support adherence to the risk appetite and continually develop and monitor performance of customer, brand and risk segments
• Develop and maintain underwriting guidelines for risk acceptance for portfolio performance
• Utilise critical thinking skills to analyse data and identify trends and drivers
• Review large losses to identify trends and themes
• Provide recommendations for adjustment to support portfolio performance.

What you’ll bring:

• Demonstrated understanding of products and their distribution and how propositions connect with customer needs
• Demonstrated deep customer obsession and integrate customer-centric thinking into all recommendations
• Experience in General Insurance Underwriting, Sales and/ or Claims
• Knowledge of Underwriting risk drivers
• Experience making recommendations aligned with strategy and risk appetite.
