Job description: As a Senior People Business Partner, you will be joining a small established team of HR and recruitment professionals who operate with a consultative approach to delivering on HR plans and initiatives across our growing organisation. Based in Wellington and reporting into our Chief People Officer APAC, you will work in close partnership with people leaders at all levels to support in driving overall success and future readiness for FNZ.We are searching for an experienced Business Partner who has experience in navigating complexities ideally within a multinational organisation and is comfortable operating at a senior level and a critical member of a highly responsive and engaged team. To achieve success in this role, you will need a solid understanding of NZ and AU employment legislation, with a proven track record of success in running point on change programmes, remuneration and rewards processes while also championing company culture. A big part of this role is being able to originate meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, coach managers on effective leadership practices, ensure compliance with local regulations and operate as a strategic advisor to senior leaders.The responsibilities will include:Provide sound guidance on HR policies and procedures across APACPartner with people leaders to support with initiatives that promote growth and high performance across FNZ.Interpret and analyse key HR metrics to inform business decisions.Lead organisational changes processes on a large scale.Mediate and resolve employee relations issues as and when they arise.Build strong working relationships with the FNZ APAC Senior leadership and cross functional teams.Drive employee engagement, culture and diversity and inclusion efforts.Work across the full lifecycle of HR including onboarding, retention, performance management and compliance.What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate:10+ years’ experience in human resources, ideally within a global business with at least 5 years in a business partnering role.Strong understanding of HR and employment law best practices across Australia and New Zealand.Proven leadership qualities with the ability to build constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Experience in a growth orientated environment.A proactive networker who is able to operate autonomously with logical decision-making skills.Proficient in building strong relationships with the ability to influence at a senior level.Willingness to work across time zones and attend calls with the US, Europe, UK and APAC.What is in it for you?Be part of a highly successful, rapidly growing global business that is leading the delivery of financial services and partners with some of the world’s largest companies.We provide significant financial rewards for high performing individuals.If this role appeals to you, please apply with your cover letter and CV by 6 June 2025.*Please note we shortlist as we receive applications.
