If this describes you, we would love to invite you to join us!We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our dynamic Payroll Team at Macquarie Park. This role ensures the timely and accurate payment of salaries, wages, and related benefits, and maintains pay records, data, and processes. The Senior Payroll Officer also assists the manager with remuneration administration and mentors team members.Key Responsibilities:Administer and pay salaries, wages, and benefits accurately and on time, in accordance with legislation and procedures.Manage workers compensation wages, superannuation, travel reimbursements, fringe benefits, vehicles, and other salary sacrifice benefits.Ensure data accuracy by entering, checking, and maintaining information in the system and electronic files.Administer pay records, including timekeeping, statistics, leave, superannuation, benefits, vehicles, payment summaries, and taxation.Run payroll and related processes accurately and timely.Provide exceptional internal customer service by responding to enquiries and producing reports.Coach team members, share workload, and suggest improvements to enhance team performance.Develop pay and remuneration procedures, document processes, and train staff.Assist with the salary review process and liaise with the salary packaging vendor.Education and Experience:2-4 years senior payroll experience.Good knowledge of payroll procedures, systems, and general staff procedures.Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.Experience with Chris21 is strongly desirable.What do we offer?Flexible, supportive work environment that provides the opportunity to do the best work of your life. 2 days in the office and 3 days WFH.Opportunities for career progression, professional development and training.Treehouse benefits and rewards, including discounts to 400 retail, accommodation and entertainment.Fitness Passport with discounts to over 800 gyms for you and your family.Tax benefits through salary packaging options as a not-for-profit organisation.A safe and healthy workplace culture.How to Apply: If you are passionate about payroll and want to make a difference in people’s lives, we would love to hear from you.
