Job description: My client, a large global company is looking for a payroll officer to join their team on a permanent basis.This is a great opportunity to learn from some of the best leaders in the Payroll world and gain some valuable exposure to complex payrolls – looking after both EBA’s and awards.2 days’ work from home | Unlimited parking on site | Incredible culture | Supportive teamDuties:

• Process End-to-end payroll on a weekly basis within a team environment
• Process superannuation, PAYG and other payroll related deductions and calculations (must have experience)
• Analyse and validate time & attendance records, ensuring compliance with relevant Awards and legislation
• Prepare final payment calculations, workers compensation and other adhoc pay calculations
• Maintain employee data accuracy across multiple systems
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of EBA’s, Australian payroll legislation and Modern Awards
• Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact for payroll queries
• Partner with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders on a day to day basis
• Assist the payroll manager with adhoc tasks and duties as required

About you:

• At least 3+ years experience within end-end payroll
• Unlimited working rights in Australia
• A vehicle and licence – this location isn’t the closest to public transport
• Must have used some large payroll systems (i.e. SAP, Micropay, Chris21, Preceda, Kronos)
• Good communication skills, with an ability to learn quickly
