Job description: About the OpportunityAs a Senior Partnerships Manager in Flight Centre Travel Group’s (FCTG) Outsourcing team, you will oversee the full outsourcing lifecycle- from implementation to performance management-reporting to the General Manager for Outsourcing. Your focus is on strengthening strategic partnerships, aligning them with FCTG’s objectives, and ensuring successful project execution.You will be working closely with internal stakeholders to understand service needs, manage vendor relationships, and optimise partnerships for cost efficiency and high-quality service delivery. Strong analytical and relationship- building skills, along with deep FCTG operational knowledge, are key to being successful in this role.Candidates must be based in either Brisbane, or willing to relocate.What you will be doing:

• Maintain and build strong relationships with key vendors and FCTG ops leaders, to ensure effective collaboration and growth
• Develop and implement comprehensive vendor management strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives, including KPIs to assess vendor performance
• Identify and capitalise on opportunities to strengthen strategic partnerships with vendors to drive innovation and competitive advantage
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback to vendors, and address any performance issues
• Provide advice, analysis, and reports in writing relating to supplier/vendor performance and adherence to agreed performance metrics as outlined in a range of enterprise contracts
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships, including financial, operational, and reputational risks
• Oversee the transition of new vendors and the integration of their services into operational workflows, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency
• Influence project outcomes by ensuring vendor activities align with FCTG internal project goals and timelines
• Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, IT, operational and project teams, to ensure full transparency in all outsourcing activities

What you will need:

• Minimum 3 years in an operational, commercial or finance role
• Senior Leadership experience highly desirable
• Demonstrated experience in delivering projects or programs and achieving exceptional commercial outcomes
• Proven ability to manage a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure contractual performance and alignment with business objectives
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to maintain relationships with suppliers
• Strong capability to make effective commercial decisions that preserve value and align with corporate objectives
• Strategic focus and long-term thinking to drive sustainable success and growth
• Extensive experience in supporting financial and contract management teams
• Experience with developing and implementing KPIs to monitor and improve vendor performance
• Excellent influencing skills with a proven ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships
• Tertiary qualifications at degree level in a relevant discipline, such as Business
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required
