Transguard Group is the UAE’s most trusted business support and outsourcing provider and has a large, dynamic, and culturally diverse workforce with 50,000 employees!We are currently recruiting for a Senior Officer-Investigations to join our Investigations team in Dubai.Scope: Senior Officer-Investigations is responsible for supporting the Head of Business Unit with investigations as it relates to criminal activity of Transguard employees through whistleblowing, complaints, and concerns within the Company from employees and/or third parties and review and evaluate compliance issues.The Senior Officer-Investigations reports to the Head and as directed, investigates whistleblowing, complaints, and allegations of illegal conduct. The Senior Officer may at times be required to lead the investigation and resolution of such complaints and allegations, after consultation with the Head.Financial
- Seek to Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk within the Company to support the Head of Investigations to develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
- Highlight legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing laws, rules, and regulations; recommending new procedures; complying with legal requirements.
Customer
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with business units to provide advice and guidance on Investigation matters and to identify opportunities for new initiatives that will improve standards of behavior.
- Collaborate with other business units regarding complaints, allegations of misconduct and compliance issues for investigation and resolution. Consult with the Head of Investigations to resolve any issues.
- Work with the Human Resources, COE, and other Business units appropriate to deliver an effective Investigations training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers.
Process
- Conduct investigations as directed by the Head of Investigations.
- Maintain high moral ethics, supporting the Investigations team to periodically review and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Investigation function to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
- Respond as directed by the Head of Investigations to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, illegal activity, and misconduct by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures. Act independently to ensure that compliance Issues/concerns within the Company are being appropriately evaluated, investigated, and reported to the Head of Investigations for suitable resolution.
- Compile and provide detailed, factual, evidential reports in respect of each investigation to the Head, and as requested, keep the CFO/CEO informed of the operation and progress of the Investigation.
- Provide support to the Ethics hotline.
- Support and promote the Investigations communication program for the organization, including promoting (a) use of the Ethics hotline; (b) heightened awareness of Code of Conduct, and (c) understanding of new and existing compliance issues and related policies and procedures, to ensure Company-wide awareness of Professional Standards policy and procedures.

- Support the Head in developing the Investigations strategy and associated policies aligned with the Company’s strategic aims and the Code of Conduct.
- Support the Head in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Investigations operating procedures; to ensure that these deliver appropriate outcomes and are consistent with Company mission and values.
- Actively support the performance of the Investigations function on a continuing basis, taking appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations to remain abreast of the status of all relevant issues and to identify trends
SkillsSelection Criteria
- Previous Investigation, Compliance monitoring, and Complaint handling experience
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Accurate and professional written style
- Ability to present and conduct training and awareness to all,
- Excellent communication at all levels of the business.
- Investigations, Law, Police, or military background is desirable.
- Computer skills, Microsoft/ Excel
