Job description: The Property Management Services Authority (PMSA) is the statutory body established under the Property Management Services Ordinance (Cap 626) and is tasked to regulate and promote the development of the property management industry. For further details about the PMSA, please visit website at www.pmsa.org.hk.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Manager (Complaints and Enforcement), the appointee will be required to:

• handle enquiries, more complicated complaint cases and conduct enforcement inspections properly and timely;
• collect and analyse evidence for disciplinary cases in accordance with the PMSO and other relevant ordinances;
• carry out investigations and gather evidence for alleged disciplinary offences and refer cases to other law enforcement agencies when necessary;
• prepare various case reports and statistical reports, etc.;
• supervise junior officers on their duties;
• prepare for and attend disciplinary hearings and court as witness; and
• undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• A recognised university degree;
• A minimum of 3 years post-qualification relevant working experience in handling complaints, preferably with law enforcement experience in governmental departments/ statutory bodies/ authorities;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably attained Level 3 or above in HKDSE, or Grade “C” or above in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in HKCEE, or equivalent);
• Good report writing skills;
• Experience in conducting inspection or investigation;
• Good commend in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing;
• A team player with strong sense of responsibility and communications skills; and
• Independent, empathetic, possesses good common sense and able to work under pressure.

Terms of AppointmentRemuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A 3-year contract will be offered to the successful candidate.
