Job description: Job Description:Black & Grey HR is seeking a talented Non-Motor Underwriting Officer on behalf of our client, a top-tier insurance company based in Dubai. The client is looking for a detail-oriented professional skilled in underwriting non-motor insurance products like property, marine, liability, and more (excluding health insurance).If you are passionate about underwriting, thrive in dynamic environments, and possess strong analytical and communication skills, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.Responsibilities:– Prepare quotations, policies, and endorsements, ensuring alignment with the client’s underwriting guidelines.– Collaborate effectively with clients, brokers, re-insurers, intermediaries, and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and service.– Assess risks and quote competitive premiums for property, marine, liability, and miscellaneous insurance products.– Coordinate across functions like marketing, claims, reinsurance, and accounts to drive operational efficiency.– Strictly adhere to treaty limits while evaluating and accepting risks.– Build strong client relationships by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries.– Partner with surveyors to facilitate accurate survey reports for informed underwriting decisions.Requirements– Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or related field.– Proven experience in non-motor insurance underwriting.– Deep understanding of underwriting principles, treaty compliance, and risk assessment.– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.– Proficiency in insurance software and MS Office Suite.– Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.BenefitsCompetitive salary + comprehensive benefits.
