Job description: Working as the Tech Lead for a highly technical data centre security team, this newly created role with a market leading organisation will utilise your strong background in network security and data centres, and enhance your skillset.Initially a 12 month contract with a potential view to extend further, this role will see you delivering secure, scalable, and innovative infrastructure solutions with a focus on IT security.You will be responsible for overseeing best of breed network security solutions and you will play a key role in leading and delivering complex security infrastructure projects. You will drive the design, deployment, and optimisation of security solutions, working with cutting-edge technologies and navigating multi-disciplinary challenges across security, data centre, networking, and cloud.To secure this role, you should have a strong background in network security around Cisco technology including (but not limited to)

• Large and complex projects, particularly focusing on Cisco firewalls (FTD, ASA), ISE, ESA, WSA, SNA, XDR
• Cloud Solutions (AWS, Azure, Google)
• ACI
• Security design and architectural review
• Exceptional documentation and communication skills
• NV2 Australian Government Clearance

In addition to this, CCIE Security and CISSP are very highly regarded, as is experience with CI/CD and DevOps.Whilst the preference for this role is Canberra, we are also open to people based in Sydney or Melbourne.Interested?
