Visa & Relocation: Sponsored for selected candidates outside MalaysiaRole Overview:We are hiring a Senior Murex Developer with 6-9 years of experience to join our client’s Datamart Reporting team within the MEA Tech division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing Murex Datamart reporting systems, ensuring data accuracy, performance optimization, and automation for efficient delivery of financial insights.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and optimize Murex Datamart reporting workflows
• Maintain and fine-tune Oracle and SQL Server 2012 databases
• Automate reporting processes using Python and Linux scripting
• Integrate systems and interfaces with Java
• Lead performance improvements and mentor junior developers
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
• Ensure system documentation and compliance with best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 6-9 years in Murex development with focus on Datamart reporting
• Murex Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Murex Datamart modules
• Languages: Proficiency in SQL (advanced queries), Python, Java, and Linux scripting
• Databases: In-depth knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server 2012
• OS: Comfortable working on Windows Server 2012 environment
• Domain: Background in financial markets, risk reporting, or similar environments is preferred
