Job description: Job Title: Senior Mortgage AdvisorReporting to: Mortgage ManagerDepartment: KeysProsperous Financial are seeking a Senior Mortgage Advisor to join our team as we continue to grow our mortgage business. Our Keys offering caters to a range of clients from first time buyers to switchers, straight forward applications to complex scenarios and will engage with a portfolio of both new and existing clients.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert mortgage advice to clients, ensuring they understand all available options available to them and assist them in selecting the most suitable mortgage products for their needs
  • Conduct thorough financial assessments to evaluate clients’ income and financial obligations, to determine the best mortgage options
  • Management of the mortgage processes and preparation internally and management of mortgage applications with relevant providers
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, clients and lenders throughout the mortgage completion process to ensure a seamless process for all involved
  • Ensuring client applications are complete and in compliance with regulations, policies and procedures
  • Identify potential mortgage opportunities through a variety of avenues including client referrals and external awareness of the keys offering
  • Maintain and manage the relevant CRM system and manage the new business pipeline
  • Work closely with Head Of Financial Planning and Mortgage Manager to review and refine mortgage practices

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in the mortgage business, supporting applications throughout the entire process
  • QFA or Professional Banker requirement
  • Full understanding of the regulatory environment for mortgages
  • Proven experience supporting customers in both a pro-active and reactive environment to ensure mortgage applications are successful
  • Strong record in the delivery of application to conversions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to deliver information with clarity
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with the both internal and external stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and an analytical mindset
