Access theKey Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, test, optimise, implement and commission server level software components needed to support software development and operational services.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, documentation and recommendations on the operational performance of the software and database technologies.
  • Establish and maintain highly effective working relationships internally with other staff and externally to ensure the alignment and integration of operational services, processes and prioritisation of projects and business changes.

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under ‘Key Responsibilities’, the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated high-level SQL, PL/SQL and Shell Scripting experience ability to write, review and tune packages, procedures, functions, triggers, sequences, indexes, and constraints.
  • Demonstrated extensive hands-on experience including patching, cloning, upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, applications security & performance tuning (code review).
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high level of technical expertise, system analysis to provide technical direction through solution design, standardisation, professional advice and support of enterprise infrastructure in a large customer focus organisation.

Specific Working Conditions:

  • Travel within the state and interstate from time to time may be a requirement of this position.
