This will involve understanding the best use of existing systems and/or the deployment of new systems.Lead the consistent adoption of a professional project management approach/methodology including documentation, communication plans, resource allocation, timelines, and budget management best practice. Where a dedicated Project Manager is not assigned to an ICT project due to its scale, oversee and manage these projects from inception to completion.Identify, engage, build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Effectively communicate with and manage expectations of all stakeholders; project sponsors, team members, Senior Leadership and Management Teams (SLT and SMT) and external partners.Centralise data management by overseeing the data management, analysis and reporting function within Bord Bia.Design and lead a programme of work to automate our data harvesting and maintenance – wherever possible, automate our access to and updating of all data. For example, by the creation of automated observatories to harvest data on strategically significant focus areas, such as emerging legislative and regulatory changes, macro-economic shifts, consumer attitudes and behavioursLead the creation and maintenance of a distributed data network – continue to partner with external organisations to expand our access to and ability to process and assess data.Define and lead the delivery of new access models for our data.Lead the organisation on the adoption of new technology solutions and sophisticated data tools enabled by AI technologies to drive efficiency and impact.Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to ensure project’s alignment with business strategy and goalsLead on the Annual Planning process as it relates to Data, Technology and ICT projects and programmes requirements of current, planned and proposed activities.Manage the development and performance of team members by agreeing priorities, providing formal PDP and PGP conversations and informal feedback and coaching.Manage assigned budgets in accordance with One Bord Bia procedures.Embed adherence to the One Bord Bia Operating Model.About YouEssential Knowledge, Skills & CapabilitiesKnowledge:Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a related fieldBusiness and Financial AnalysisBachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, and/or similar.Skills & Capabilities:Leadership experience at a management level inleading, developing and mentoring teams to successfully deliver their business and career goals and achieve their full potentialDigital first mindset, comfortable with an agile culture focused on continuous improvementAnalytical Thinking and Problem Solving – Ability to dissect complex issues, perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, and devise effective solutions.Communication Skills, proficient in conveying information effectively to stakeholders, team members, and management, both verbally and in writing.Business knowledge, understanding of the business domain, processes, and operations to provide context to analysis and recommendations.Technical Proficiency with business intelligence tools, data analysis software, and project management platforms, excel and BI.Interpersonal Skills possessing the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate discussions.Detail-Oriented and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of business requirements and project documentation.Organisational Skills with strong capability in managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadline and driving projects to successful completion.Desirable Knowledge, Skills & CapabilitiesKnowledge:Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) are highly desirable.Skills & Capabilities:Excellent Documentation skills.Closing Date/Time: Wednesday, 26 February 2025 @ 5:00pm (GMT/UTC)Learn more about working at Bord Bia.Bord Bía is an Equal Opportunities Employer: We want to see a society where everyone is equal.
