Job description: Job DescriptionPOSITION GENERAL SUMMARYTo provide analysis and strategic inputs to the Group and airports on matters related to air traffic performance and forecasts for budgeting and airport capacity planning. Also to provide business intelligence in relation to charges, incentives and air transport economics related matters.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Manage traffic forecasting and provide estimates for budgeting, 5 year business planning, capacity planning and development
• Coordinate among the managers to validate the projections with respect to capacity provision by airports and airlines, regional competitive factors, schedule analysis in coordination with internal stakeholders
• Provide alternative forecasts based on scenario analysis
• Conduct micro forecasting for specified sectors and additional parameters such as peak day and peak hour analysis
• Plan and manage surveys to strengthen data quality and add on new parameters of use including meters and greeters
• Prepare Bursa report and analysis for monthly and regular reporting

• Unforeseen factors and changing market dynamics can cause significant deviations in projected numbers, consequentially requiring adjustments in financial and airport planning commitments
• Availability and acquisition of reliable and quality data to support business intelligence
• Interpreting air transport dynamics and trends correctly

EducationEXTERNAL

• Degree preferably in Economics, Business Statistics or Business Administration
• Master Degree would be an added advantage

Relevant IndustriesEXTERNAL

• Degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience
