Job description: Job Opportunity with our esteemed client in DubaiEducation- Bachelor DegreeLocation – DubaiExperiece- 10+YearsDevelop, champion and ensure implementation of category management plans and strategies
to support the categories under management. Implement plans which will optimize the total
cost of ownership year on year for categories under management in line with Procurement
Transformation guidelines and policy. Have a detailed knowledge of the category under
management to enable pro-active planning and market knowledge. Develop and implement
commodity strategies and establish and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers to
ensure successful implementation and support.
Develop and implement strategic plans for assigned categories
Conduct Market research and identify cost-effective and innovative solutions
Manage the Procurement Transformationprocess, including

• Supplier assessment
• Supplier financial analysis
• RFI, RFQ and RFP’s

Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements

• Service level agreements

Use leading practice procurement tools to develop and implement the sourcing strategies
including :

• Objective decision making
• Category Prioritization (Value Liver Analysis)
• Porter Five Forces Analysis (New Entrant Threat, Buyer Power, Supplier Power,

Subsitute Threat, Supply Market Rivalry)

• Scope Advisory
• Strategy Advisory
• Specification Optimization
• PEST Analysis (Political, Economic, Social & Technological)
• SWOT Analysis per Category
• Kraljic Based Relationship (Strategic, Leverage, Bottle Neck, Transactional)
• Demand Management
• Stakeholder Management
• Spend Management & Categorization
• Process Enhancement

CIPS Preferred
Adapts and manages execution of departmental plans and priorities
