Join EY and help to build a better working world.What’s in it for you?As our Senior Manager – Process & Controls (Internal Audit), you’ll play a pivotal role in leading and managing internal audit engagements to ensure the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. This role is based in Brisbane, Australia.

• Lead and manage internal audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit standards and relevant regulations.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Manage budgets and oversee the team delivering Internal Audit.
• Engage with clients and manage client relationships effectively.

• Extensive experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams.
• Professional services experience is desired, otherwise experience in working with a large complex multi-facet organisation.
• Experience in managing senior executive level stakeholders.
• Ability to manage budgets and oversee the team delivering Internal Audit.
• Experience in a client-facing role.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Experience in a Big Four firm or a large multifaceted organization.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in internal audit.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience in enterprise risk management.
• Experience of presenting to the Audit & Risk Committee.
