Established in 2013, the company operates in some of the fastest-growing insurance markets in the world with a vision of changing the way people feel about insurance.For more information, please visitPurposeDrive the corporate strategy development process and long-term strategic initiatives to ensure the group and business units deliver FWD visionIdentify functional/ market opportunities by analysing data and support strategic initiatives that will drive growth and profitability in the businessServes as a business partner to functional heads at Group level and business unit to drive delivery of strategic targets / projectsKey accountabilitiesCoordinate and drive the corporate strategy development process and collaborate with functional heads at Group level and business unit to develop strategy and strategic initiatives that support the delivery of group visionSupport the overall project management of corporate strategy development process by identifying dependencies, next steps, project risks while ensuring all deadlines are delivered on timeDrive the formulation and execution of business strategy (e.g. strategy localisation, target operating model and governance model) by working closely with all functional heads at Group level and business unitWork on strategic or transformation projects that deliver tangible and sustainable results to the business and create innovative strategies to solve key business problemsWork or work closely with team members for market intelligence including competitor tracking, benchmarking and industry analysis as and when neededManaging external vendors; engaging and teaming up with consulting firms as and when neededQualifications / experience8-10 years relevant working experience for candidates from inhouse insurance strategy, and/or in a leading management consultancy firmStrong intellect, intellectual curiosity and ability to deal with complex and ambiguous situationsStrong finance and analytical skills, for which a Masters Degree in Corporate Finance, Strategy or Business Administration or similar discipline will be an advantageAbility to coordinate and work with internal stakeholders with limited guidanceKnowledge & technical skillsKnowledge and experience across Asian insurance markets requiredUnderstanding of insurance related business and financial metricsStrong strategic, analytical, accounting, and corporate finance skillsGreat written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative in nature to work with internal and external partiesIndependent and innovative thinker
