Job description: The Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will play a critical role in providing strategic financial insights and analysis to support decision-making at the group level. Core responsibility includes financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across the group. The incumbent will work closely with business units and senior leadership to drive financial efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and support long-term business objectives.KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the group-level budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Provide strategic financial analysis, including variance analysis, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis to support executive decision-making.
- Partner with business units to drive financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide real-time insights into business performance.
- Prepare executive-level financial reports, presentations, and board materials.
- Work closely with accounting and treasury teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with corporate policies.
- Drive continuous process improvements in financial planning, reporting, and data analytics.
- Support the GCFO in financial strategy development, capital allocation, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact financial planning and reporting.
JOB SPECIFICATIONSMINIMUM ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA, CA preferred.RELATED EXPERIENCE
At least 7-12 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting & Reporting, Corporate Finance, or a related function, with significant exposure to group-level financial management. Strong financial modelling, data analysis, and strategic planning skills.KEY COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan, or similar.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.
- Experience in a multinational or large corporate environment preferr
