Job description: Our client is looking for a Senior Manager, Finance Transformation for a 9-month contract opportunityWe are looking for a techno-functional lead to manage various finance projects resulting from mergers and acquisitions initiatives. This role will be responsible for representing finance requirements across multiple projects. The position will manage various projects simultaneously, leveraging IT and Finance resources to ensure end-to-end delivery of agreed upon solutions or services within planned forecasts and cost estimates. Projects will include, but not limited to, Ceridian payroll feed to General Ledger, Updates to Policy and Claims systems requiring redesign of financial logic and Integration of chart of accounts between two entities.About the Opportunity:

• Lead technology projects for finance impacting Oracle ERP system
• Responsible for providing scope, timelines, resource allocation for projects impacting finance
• Gather requirements from various stakeholders, translate business needs into technical requirements and co-ordinate the solution delivery with Finance TS team and Project Manager
• Deep dive into existing processes to understand the impact of the project on finance including journal entries, flow of data, EPR solution, impact on functional logic etc.
• Provide updates to all impacted business stakeholders as needed
• Provide a flexible approach by offering and negotiating solution options with business that balance project timelines, cost and risk
• Approve business requirements and testing strategy and maintain necessary documentation by using platforms such as JIRA and Confluence
• Develop and participate in all aspects of user testing including post implementation testing
• Report on Project progress, status and overall health to the project team
• Providing leadership, training, and guidance to other finance and non-finance members on the projects to understand the system needs
• Measure, monitor projects, stay within budget, meet or exceed expectations

About You:

• Undergraduate Degree in Business/Commerce or a Technology Discipline (Computer Science, Engineering)
• 10+ years relevant experience
• Proven record of delivering technology projects for Finance, including Oracle ERP projects
• Understanding of Accounting rules will be critical in finalizing project requirements
• Ability to work closely with business partners, internal and external stakeholders, technology vendors to ensure solutions meet requirements, and architecture needs
• Knowledge of Oracle solutions, including Oracle Financial Services Data Integration Hub (DIH), Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning Cloud Service (ERPCS), Oracle EPM Cloud (PCMCS, EPBCS), Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud Service (EPMCS), and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
• Good knowledge of Oracle Financial Services Analytics Applications (OFSAA)
• Excellent Communications skills
• Experience using various Data Upload tools such as BI Publisher, File Based Data Import (FBDI) & BI reporting tool
• Readiness to manage large-scale projects across multiple businesses, involving significant scope and complexity over a multi-year transformation impacting the enterprise
