We are looking for talented, Japanese-speaking consultants who can deliver client value, architect and sell data solutions, and help grow our capabilities across the APAC region, especially in Japan.Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) and business-level English is essential, as this role involves regular interaction with Japanese clients and stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDrive the growth of the Data Analytics and AI practice through leadership, innovation, and thought leadershipCollaborate with internal teams to deliver consulting and technology services to clientsLead end-to-end go-to-market strategies and delivery of data and AI engagementsDevelop deep client relationships and act as a trusted advisorArchitect, propose, and deliver value-added solutions for data and AI opportunitiesSupport sales and business development efforts across strategic accountsStay updated on emerging data technologies and industry best practicesMentor and grow internal talent within the practiceRequirementsFluent in Japanese (written and spoken) and business-level EnglishStrong business acumen and understanding of industry-specific challenges (e.g., Energy, Aviation, Supply Chain)Proven experience in consulting, data strategy development, and delivering data-driven solutionsHands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake)Solid knowledge of data analytics, Machine Learning, and Generative AI conceptsFamiliarity with data governance and information management frameworksExperience in organizational change management and leading cross-functional teamsStrong presentation, communication, and client-facing skillsNice to haveBachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field7+ years of experience in a technology consulting environmentWillingness to travel up to 20%We offer/BenefitsBy choosing EPAM, you’re getting a job at .Employee ideas are the main driver of our business.
