The Client Relationship Executive (CRE) plays a pivotal role, working alongside our Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) to bring the best of Deloitte to our clients.Our CREs are aligned to the firm’s priority accounts which are often sophisticated and complex in their nature, industry leading or well known brand names, with a footprint in the UK or globally. CREs develop strength and depth in relationships, internally and externally, to leverage opportunities for growth.We’re excited to offer an opportunity within our Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Government sector. Building your internal network and liaising with internal clients and stakeholders is as important as those externally. For many of our CREs, developing relationships with specific individuals and teams within the client organisation is an imperative. Our CREs play a central and important role within the account team, and are principally involved in:

  • Leveraging stakeholder relationships to drive action and be the focal point of communications and activity on the account.
  • Working with market-facing account teams to develop and deliver against the strategic ambition, understanding the needs of the client(s), industry trends, and the full suite of offerings and ways in which we serve our clients.
  • Identifying insights, thought leadership and points of view that can be shared with key client stakeholders to maintain and further develop relationships.
  • Leading knowledge sharing amongst the team and providing team coaching on client challenges and trends; bringing the account team together to best serve our client(s).
  • Reviewing and sharing information on client buying and the competitor landscape; maintaining financial oversight and reporting for the account; supporting in the development of an annual business plan and building knowledge of alternative pricing and delivery models.
  • Appropriately and effectively monitor the risk profile on the account(s) to which you are aligned and ensure effective compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Sharing leading practice and enhancing the CRE community and contributing to the enhancement of the industry and sector community by sharing client insights; you represent the ‘voice of the client’ and is imperative we understand and reflect that in all that we do.

Connect to your skills and professional experienceWe are looking for candidates that are experienced in relationship/account management roles with a passion for client excellence and a curiosity for their clients’ business.Essential

  • Excellent senior stakeholder management skills, where trusted peer relationships can be built
  • Confident in leading teams and collaborating with busy professionals to deliver results with excellent stakeholder management skills; able to make pro-active decisions quickly
  • Excellent project management skills, with a strong track record of executing projects and initiatives to tight deadlines
  • Experience of working with or have a strong understanding of our UK Government and Public Sector ecosystem
  • Strong emotional intelligence, demonstrable success in building rapport and credibility with a range of people at different levels of seniority. Ability to adapt your style to create an impact that matters
  • Quantitatively literate, confident with financial reporting and being able to spot the ‘story behind the numbers’ to identify trends and themes to recommend courses of action
  • Understanding of and an ability to monitor risk
  • Experience of working within remote teams
  • Using and promoting the engagement in CRM systems to generate powerful, actionable intelligence for the account(s)
  • A confident presenter

Desirable

  • Experience of a client serving role; knowledge of client take on procedures/processes
  • Experience of using Salesforce as a CRM tool
  • Facilitation experience
  • Professional services experience or knowledge of how a partnership structure operates
  • Knowledge or experience of procurement, pricing and contracting
  • Strategy & Ops, Buinesss Development, or Engagement role experience
  • Experience of working cross border/internationally
  • Experience of working with Globally minded clients and helping Deloitte to deliver globally
  • Knowledge/understanding of energy organisations within the public sector
