- Bachelor in relevant discipline
- Internal Applicants: 6 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a management position
- External Applicants: 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a management position
Key Accountabilities
- Manage Omantel Group CAPEX budget in line with New corporate strategy goals and market trends.
- Reviewing the submissions with CxOs and ensuring alignment with all stakeholders.
- Presenting final Capex budget to CMT & BoD for approvals.
- Reporting the final approved budget to VPs.Top of Form
- Monitoring annual CAPEX budget utilization and reporting.
- Adhering to adhoc requirements/ unplanned projects with insuring efficiency and cost optimization.
- Conducting Post Appraisal on major Capex investment with the focus on efficiencies and resources optimization.
- Reporting the findings to CMT and following up with CMT directions.
- Managing the review of Capex Business Cases and ensuring the alignment with Omantel strategy and business sustainability.
- Presenting the BCs to CFO and CMT to obtain relevant budget approval.
- Managing the review of Business Cases related to Business Unit & ensuring alignment with Omantel’s profitability and Business relationships.
- Monitoring Capex Cash Flow during the year and ensuring meeting the targeted liquidity with concerned stakeholders.
- Managing forecasted Capex Budget & cash flow end of each quarter and reporting the findings to CMT.
- Highlighting the main issues with Finance management in terms of over/under spending and taking collaborative decisions to overcome issues during the year.
- Managing automations of Capex processes to ensure end-to-end process efficiency.
- Exploring options of embedding new technologies (AI) into automated process.
- Review FF new investment and dvise Management CFO, GMSF, GMT on financials to facilitate decision making.
- Liaise with Senior manager Corporate Development & Investment Management and where required provide active support on capital raising and lose coordination with Omantel Treasury.
- Quantify joint KPIs and avoid duplicate capex investment and monitor performance and contribution against the same.
- Develop and manage policies, processes and routines for monitoring the performance of portfolio companies and benchmark against budgets, acquisition cases, PMI plan KPIs etc.
- Ensure proper governance, policies, procedures and charters are developed and implemented in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
