With a continued record of growth and stability, we’re on the constant lookout for fresh talent to join our expanding teams.As a Senior Manager Business System Analysis at Optum, you’ll be responsible for working with business partners to define and document new technical requirements for future development efforts. You’ll be reporting into the Director of Operations and working closely with the VP of Data science in all aspects of project delivery from start to finish. That includes partnering with our internal business operations to identify needs, working with developers on solution design, and documenting product deliverables for communication to the broader organization.Primary Responsibilities of the Senior Manager Business System Analysis:

• Work with business partners to define and document business and technical requirements for data and analytics projects, this includes the documentation of data flows and data mapping from source systems into our analytic platform
• Support the key blue-chip projects through day-to-day project governance and oversight.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to assist with data science solutioning efforts
• Participate in Agile ceremonies with relevant stakeholders
• Assist with QA of features
• Support the PMO/CoS groups in delivering industry best practices for governance.

• Strong understand of relational database concepts
• SQL querying experience
• Requirements analysis
• Requirements organization
• Knowledge of Agile concepts
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to analyze data, drive to root cause issue, identify trends, problem solve and provide key recommendations based on analysis
• Graduate degree or equivalent qualification
• Ability to balance multiple projects
• Proficiency with Excel, Visio (Or similar), PowerPoint and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Manager Business System Analysis:

• Understanding of Snowflake and cloud data components
• Project Management Experience
• Healthcare / Pharmacy experience
