Job description: Our client is a reputable international real estate asset manager, they are looking to hire an Senior Manager, Asset Management for their China portfolios, it is based in Shanghai.Job Duties:

• Act as the owner of various assets and has an overall accountability for the financial performance, value creation and operational efficiency for the assigned assets portfolio
• Maximize the value of assets by formulating and implementing asset plan, including leasing strategies, asset management standard, marketing, positioning, and asset enhancement
• Take ownership to coordinate, manage and ensure the delivery of key activities and initiatives, to achieve net property income growth and valuation gain
• Responsible to prepare and / or review, comment and endorse the yearly budget pack including but not limited to Annual Budget, Asset Plan, Capital Expenditure Programme and long term Asset Strategy & Positioning Paper
• Monitor and review periodic reports of mainland china assets, and ensure operational and financial performance are in line or above operating financial budgets
• Ensure all operational and commercial decisions align with Link’s compliance & protocols and other statutory requirements
• Assist in underwriting, reviewing and analysing asset business plan, due diligence reports and other relevant documents of potential merger and acquisition opportunities

Job Requirements:

• Min Bachelor Degree holder in Business Administration, Surveying, Real Estate Economics and Finance, Accounting and Finance or related disciplines
• At least 10 years’ experience from Finance, Property Developers, Real Estate Funds or Private Equity Firms
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, good working knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis, and great communication skills
• Proficiency in English and Chinese
• Self-sufficient and ability to work independently under great pressure
• Able to express self verbally and negotiate in a knowledgeable, coherent and confident manner in a variety of situations
• Possess sharp business acumen and commercially savvy with strong market awareness
• A collaborative team-player and a desire to work in a team environment
• Experience in investment is a plus
