Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role plays a critical part in driving financial and operational performance within a high performing business unit. The successful candidate will partner closely with the General Manager of the business unit, a senior leader within the organisation.This is a high-impact role suited to a proactive finance professional who can hit the ground running. Given the evolving nature of the organisation, a patient and inquisitive mindset is essential—someone who is willing to challenge the status quo, ask ‘why,’ and drive meaningful process improvements.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review month-end reports, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Deliver monthly P&L accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
• Manage budgeting & forecasting processes.
• Create and present dashboard reports to key operational stakeholders.
• Provide financial modelling, business cases, and ad hoc support to operational teams.
• Analyse budgets, costs, and stock management to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Drive system and process enhancements in collaboration with operational managers.
• Support ongoing process improvement initiatives, keeping in mind that legacy systems may require time and patience to optimise.

Skills & Experience:

• CA or CPA qualification required with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience is essential.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders.
• A mindset geared towards process improvement and efficiency.
