The Senior Logistics Analyst – External Warehousing and Secondary Transport is responsible for analysing and managing logistical data to support both strategic and operational decision-making within logistics. This role is central to overseeing logistics operations, including external warehousing, transportation, and supplier management. Key responsibilities include improving inventory control, ensuring budget compliance, and driving cost-efficiency initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on logistics performance by collaborating with logistics suppliers and cross-functional teams, such as Customer Supply Chain, Primary Logistics, and Finance. The Senior Logistics Analyst reports directly to the Manager Logistics Operations.Responsibilities:Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect and analyse logistical data to inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Monitor and enhance stock accuracy (e.g., book-to-book comparisons).
  • Provide insights into budget adherence and cost-effectiveness metrics.

Operational Management:

  • Manage and ensure the efficient execution of inbound logistics, warehouse operations (pick/pack), inventory control, and transportation activities.
  • Analyse and verify supplier invoices to ensure compliance with budgets and agreements.
  • Monitor and manage logistics transactions within the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

Supplier Collaboration:

  • Maintain effective relationships with external warehousing and transport providers to ensure high-quality service and operational efficiency.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Customer Supply Chain teams (CSA), Plant Logistics, and Finance to align data analysis efforts and streamline daily operations.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to optimize overall logistics performance.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Data Analytics or equivalent by experience.
  • Strong experience in logistics operations, with a focus on data analysis, warehousing, and transportation.
  • ·Advanced analytical abilities with a demonstrated capacity to interpret and present data-driven insights.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems and logistics/inventory management tools (WMS/TMS)
  • Solid understanding of Incoterms 2020® and international trade compliance regulations.
  • Proficient in Excel and Power BI, with the ability to analyze data, create reports, and present insights effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize effectively
