Job description: Senior Legal Counsel – Dipsute & EnforcementClient DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our legal team at a leading regulatory authority. This role will focus on managing and advising on complex dispute resolution matters, including commercial litigation, regulatory enforcement. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise from an international law firm environment and demonstrate sound judgment in navigating legal and regulatory challenges.Description

• Advise on and manage a wide range of contentious matters, including regulatory investigations, enforcement actions, and commercial disputes.
• Represent the regulator in legal proceedings and liaise with external counsel as necessary.
• Provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance, enforcement strategy, and risk mitigation.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, submissions, and enforcement notices.
• Monitor legal developments and emerging risks relevant to the regulatory landscape.
• Support policy development and contribute to legal frameworks and guidelines.
• Mentor junior legal staff and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Profile

• Qualified lawyer oh HK with a minimum of 6PQE
• Trained and practiced at a leading international law firms or regulators with a strong focus on commercial litigation and regulatory matters.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal issues independently and provide clear, pragmatic advice.
• Excellent communication, drafting, and advocacy skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
