Job description: The Senior Counsel will serve as a key member of the Group legal department and will support Arcera’s Chief Legal Officer with the global legal operations and HQ projects and contracts. The Senior Counsel will report to the Chief Legal Officer and will have the opportunity to advise and interact with the Executive Leadership Team and HQ team. The role demands strong legal and communication skills as well as strategic thinking.Key Responsibilities
Assist the Chief Legal Officer in managing HQ legal matters and global operations.
Drive global and cross-border legal initiatives and projects, including the development and implementation of digital and AI-based legal tools.
Provide strategic legal guidance on commercial, employment, compliance and corporate matters to HQ team.
Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of agreements for the HQ team (, service, consultancy, lease, etc.).
Support the Chief Legal Officer with the coordination and oversight of strategic international projects.
Ensure alignment with global compliance standards and anti-bribery, data privacy, and anti-trust regulations.
Support internal investigations, group reporting requirements and policy enforcement.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university; Master’s or LLM preferred.
Licensed to practice Law.
7+ years of legal experience in a multinational pharma company or reputable law firm.
Proven expertise in commercial contracts, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
Strong cross-border legal experience and strategic legal thinking.
Excellent English communication.
Collaborative, business-oriented, and decisive.
Fluency in English is required. Additional language skills (e.g., Arabic) are highly desirable.
