Collaborate closely with the product owner (PO) and users to understand and validate the team’s needs.
Participate in the design and development of the solution, applying best practices in programming, configuration, and integration.
Lead the team’s technical choices in accordance with best practices and company standards.
Ensure the security and confidentiality of digital information.
Incorporate automated testing into the development process.
Conduct necessary tests throughout the development cycle up to production.
Assess the performance, robustness, and functional test coverage of the developed solution.
Implement or use a continuous integration and deployment pipeline.
Discuss and share technical choices with colleagues.
Participate in peer code reviews and encourage code validation within the team.
Provide technical support for the software solution once in production.
Keep the necessary documentation up-to-date to ensure the sustainability of the designed elements.
Take responsibility for complex tasks and serve as a reference in the area of technical expertise.
Actively participate in all team activities and initiatives.Qualifications
Advanced expertise in development with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, and OpenAI.
Strong experience in object-oriented programming, integrating SOLID principles.
In-depth skills in unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
Familiarity with behavior-driven development (BDD) practices.
Over seven years of experience in the information technology sector.
Proven expertise in the key technologies mentioned.
Proficiency in Agile and DevOps methodologies (Scrum/Lean), effectively applied in a team context.
In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, containers, and virtualization, including Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Diverse experience with multiple programming languages, databases, and other relevant technologies.
Exceptional ability to diagnose and solve complex problems.
Industry knowledge in insurance and financial services, considered an asset.
High level of autonomy and ability to solve problems independently.
Talent for knowledge sharing and acting as an expert within the team.
Natural leadership and ability to strategically set priorities.Summary
