Job description: Job Category: ITJob Description:We are currently looking for an experienced software engineer to join the New Payment Rails (NPR) Instant Payments squad in Core Payments Platform tribe. You will have an important role in building the next generation payments processing system using modern technology stack.The Core Payments Platform manages the accurate and prompt processing of payments, so it is a highly important area for the bank – it is the backbone of the bank. We play an essential role in building new payment solutions – we are responsible for the clearing of instant payments, integrating with the central bank as well as bank internal systems.You will work on expanding the existing solution with new functionality, updating and maintaining our existing production assets in a friendly and highly skilled environment where sharing and developing knowledge, growing your skills is a priority. We are highly flexible in our ways of working including working from home.NPR Instant squad is distributed between Denmark and Lithuania. It is therefore essential to be comfortable working online together well.As Java Developer, you will;

• Develop, deploy, maintain and support our solutions with complete end-to-end ownership mindset
• Bring your enthusiasm and ideas that will inspire and influence others, as well being inspired by others yourself
• Create sustainable solutions guided by the best practices and emphasis on clean code
• Work closely together with architects, fellow developers and business analysts to ensure a high-quality product
• Work in a microservice architecture with Java, Kafka, Kafka Streams, Docker and Kubernetes, ELK stack, REST API’s, MSSQL database

What we imagine you bring:Beside bringing a positive, friendly attitude, we see you having extensive experience writing Java applications and with the Java ecosystem and Kafka, and looking after live production systems. Maybe you also have experience with the Kafka Streams client libraries?Furthermore, we hope you bring:

• a natural interest in driving and learning both technical and domain knowledge
• comfortable working in teams distributed across borders
• ability to contribute to architectural decisions and convey your point of view
• a willingness to guide, teach, mentor other developers
