What is the Role:This is a senior role within the Technology & Data organisation forming an integral part of the Homes Tribe management team, reporting directly to the Homes Tribe Tech Lead. You will have leadership accountability for the Mortgages technology platforms which includes Service Assurance, Technology Solutioning and Complex IT Change Delivery activities. You will function as a recognised Senior Software Engineering Specialist, providing insight and expertise in directing a cross-functional team and ensuring maximum productivity by constantly monitoring and improving the team’s software engineering practice. You will also develop the long term strategic roadmap for this domain , taking the sustainability of the technology into account. The Mortgage systems span both Digital and Staff Assisted mortgage journeys across all brands and the role you will work closely with the key stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes for the Bank and its customers in an agile way. This role will be key to the implementation of the planned transformation agenda leading to the consolidation of platforms.Key accountabilities:
