Job description: This Financial Services organisation in Dublin 1 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Investment Risk Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing investment risks and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations. This organisation is known for its robust asset and liability management services, offering a diverse and challenging work environment.Key Responsibilities
– Assist in meeting Second Line risk requirements for transactions, both at the assessment stage and throughout the investment lifecycle.
– Review transaction proposals, identifying key risks and ensuring adherence to risk appetite.
– Deliver high-quality risk review notes for the Investment Committee.
– Monitor transaction pipelines and review post-closing requirements.
– Cultivate strong relationships with first-line teams.
– Provide risk management guidance on various investments and portfolios.
– Support the Head of Investment Risk in general Investment Risk matters.Key Skills and Requirements
– Honours degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or a comparable Accountancy qualification.
– 7 – 10 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, credit analysis, private equity, or direct lending/investment.
– Expertise in a wide range of investments and asset classes.
– Broad knowledge of various industries and sectors.
– Excellent communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills.
– Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills.
– Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Benefits
